March 14-20, 2021 is Social Work Week in British Columbia. Social Work Week celebrates the contributions that social workers make to the health and well-being of British Columbians. The theme for 2021 is Social Work is Essential.

Social workers are vital resources for our clients and we are grateful.  In addition to a big thank you on behalf of the firm and our clients, to show our appreciation for the work that BC social workers do, the firm has set up the BCASW Murphy Battista LLP Continuing Education Bursary Fund.

The Fund is intended to assist practicing BCASW members with the cost of education courses and skill development in the following areas:

• Rehabilitation
• Post-traumatic stress disorder
• Case management
• Advocacy
• Counselling
• Grief
• Anxiety
• Depression
