Angela Bespflug and Janelle O’Connor will speak at TLABC’s annual Medical-Legal Conference on November 30, 2023. Angela and Janelle will join Dr. Shaila Misri from BC Women’s Hospital on a panel discussing issues unique to gathering medical evidence in sexual violence cases. The panel will address how to prevent secondary victimization while securing necessary medical evidence and ensuring that the evidence reflects the full scope and nuances of harm present in sexual violence cases.
