Elizabeth is a litigator who acts exclusively for plaintiffs. Her practise focuses on class actions, personal injury claims, and civil sexual misconduct claims including sexual assault, childhood sexual abuse, and ‘revenge porn’ claims involving the distribution of intimate images and other related breaches of privacy. She has worked at Murphy Battista since 2017, while obtaining her law degree.

Elizabeth has appeared before the BC Provincial Court, the BC Supreme Court, and the BC Court of Appeal. Beyond the courtroom, she has contributed to the Canadian Class Action Review as an author and has experience volunteering with the Legal Education Outreach Program, Access Pro Bono, and the UBC Innocence Project.

Elizabeth understands that there is more to being a lawyer than simply knowing the law. Not only does she endeavour to achieve just and fair outcomes for her clients, but she also works to ensure that they feel empowered to focus on their personal wellbeing during a time when it matters most. Elizabeth recognizes that the legal system can often appear daunting to those who are unfamiliar with it, and she is driven to make it more accessible, understandable, and manageable for her clients.
