Albany Fitzgerald
Lawyer
Vancouver

Albany has been a litigation lawyer with Murphy Battista since 2021. She focuses on personal injury claims and civil sexual misconduct claims, including sexual assault and childhood abuse.
Prior to becoming a litigator, Albany worked as a teaching assistant at Simon Fraser University, which fostered her passion for helping others and resolving conflicts. In 2018, Albany spent her summer interning for WorkSafeBC where she saw the serious effects that injuries have on people’s lives. Her experience instilled an empathetic approach to her daily practice as a lawyer, where she understands the emotional, financial, and physical stress of accident-related injuries. Albany also has experience volunteering with Access Pro Bono.
Outside of work, Albany enjoys cooking and making her way through the never-ending stack of books in her reading pile.
Albany is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia and the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia.
