Murphy Battista LLP has filed a class action lawsuit against Nutrabolics, Inc. alleging the company misled consumers with false “vegan” labelling and failing to disclose or warn that the bars contained milk or dairy ingredients, which put consumers’ health at risk. The bars were recalled by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency in 2024. 

The proposed class action is brought by Murphy Battista LLP on behalf of people who purchased the recalled bars for personal household use and people who consumed the bars and suffered injury or death.

The claim seeks compensation for personal injuries, refunds of purchase costs, and other damages and asks the Nutrabolics, Inc. be held accountable for negligence, misrepresentation, breaches of consumer protection and competition laws.
