What is the claim about?

This proposed class action concerns Nutrabolics’ “Feed Me Vegan Real Food Protein & Oats” bars, which were marketed and labelled as vegan and free of milk or dairy ingredients. Despite these claims, several flavours of the bars were recalled by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency in 2024 after it was discovered that they contained undeclared milk ingredients.

The lawsuit alleges that Nutrabolics misled consumers with false “vegan” labelling and failed to disclose or warn about milk or dairy ingredients, putting consumers’ health at risk.

The proposed class action is being brought on behalf of two groups of people in Canada: (1) people who purchased the recalled bars for personal or household use and (2) people who consumed the bars and suffered injury or death.

The claim seeks compensation for personal injuries, refunds of purchase costs, and other damages and asks the Court to hold Nutrabolics accountable for negligence, misrepresentation, and breaches of consumer protection and competition laws.
