This incredible event and silent auction is more than just a day of golf. It is a celebration of resilience, perseverance, and the unwavering determination of Julia Gassmick. Since experiencing a life-changing spinal cord injury in 2015, Julia has faced every challenge with courage and drive, turning adversity into motivation as she continues her remarkable journey of rehabilitation.

Proceeds from this tournament directly support Julia’s continued progress. They help fund her twice-yearly, month-long visits to the Frazier Rehab Institute in Kentucky, her daily therapy sessions, specialized rehabilitation equipment, and her participation in adaptive sports. From sledge hockey, riding, tennis, wheelchair basketball, track & field, indoor bouldering to para-swimming, this is one active young lady. She takes her fitness seriously! And, involvement in sports are not just activities for Julia. They are passions that have become essential to her physical recovery and emotional wellbeing.

The Silent auction, featuring over 50 incredible items, will open for bidding on August 17. The auction will run for a full week and will close the evening of the tournament, Aug 24. The auction website link will be shared on August 17 on social media as well as at golfforjulia.com
