Mike has been a litigation lawyer with Murphy Battista since 2013. He has successfully litigated complex liability issues, as well as and claims involving brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, soft tissue injuries, broken bones, psychological injuries and chronic pain, among others. Mike works on complex injury claims, trip or slip-and-fall claims, commercial host liability (alcohol overservice), assault and sexual assault claims, MCFD negligence claims, abuse and mistreatment claims, medical malpractice, wrongful death, insurance denial, car accidents and others.

In addition to his legal practice Mike enjoys giving back to his community. He has served as a volunteer at G.F. Strong Rehabilitation Centre and with Trial Lawyers Association of B.C. He has been a featured guest speaker on The Law Show and CNKW radio on liability arising from overservice of alcohol. A portion of Mike's law practice is dedicated to giving free summary advice and free legal services to those most vulnerable.

Before having kids, Mike enjoyed playing beach volleyball, hiking the Grouse Grind and eating food while it was still warm.
