Angela Bespflug is one of Benchmark Canada’s “Top 100 Women in Litigation” 2024
August 21, 2024
Angela Bespflug‘s recognition as one of Benchmark Canada’s Top 100 Women in Litigation for 2024 is a moment of pride and honour for all of us. These women are recognized leaders in litigation and have earned the respect of their peers and clients.
Angela’s unwavering commitment to justice throughout her career is truly inspiring. This past year, her work advocating for Canada’s disabled veterans and RCMP officers resulted in a court-approved settlement of $817 million. Along with our colleague Janelle O’Connor, she is also leading a separate class proceeding to rectify the alleged improper clawback of disability pensions. In addition, Angela continues to work on cases that leverage class action litigation to address systemic wrongs against Indigenous people relating to child welfare, health, and racism.
Congratulations, Angela. Your perseverance and determination to do what is right for our clients are always front and centre, and the recognition is well-deserved!
