At Murphy Battista LLP we recognize the value of sharing information and building strong networks as necessary supports for getting your life back after a catastrophic injury.
To this end the firm sponsors a Personal Injury Resource Centre located adjacent to G.F. Strong. The Centre operates as an information clearinghouse and we also offer space to groups who are seeking to connect and provide support to injured people. One such group is the Women’s Group “Girl Talk” a group for women (17 and up) with disabilities. Organized by Jenna Reed-Cote, an ambassador for Spinal Cord Injury BC, the group is intended to give members a venue to talk about what matters most. Whether that’s navigating relationships, academics, fulfilling careers or dealing with unique opportunities and challenges.
Next Session: Wednesday, April 9th, 7-8pm
Where: Personal Injury Resource Centre @ 908 King Edward Avenue.
The group is drop in, so if you, or anyone you know may be interested, please come on by.
We have also successfully Skyped someone in long distance, so if you are physically unable to make the meeting, it may still be possible for you to join. Contact Jenna and she will help you organize connecting with the group.
