Our Lawyers - Profile of Angela Price-Stephens

Angela Price-Stephens was born in Derby, England in 1968. She was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 1996 and has spent the majority of her early career defending civil claims brought against a variety of professionals, including the police, solicitors, surveyors, architects and, in more recent years, exclusively doctors, dentists and other clinicians.

From 2004 Angela has represented individuals who have suffered injury, often through medical malpractice, and who now face the insurance companies she once represented. Angela uses her knowledge of the insurance industry and defence tactics to better represent the interests of her clients. Angela also represents individuals who have received serious injuries arising from a variety of activities including motor vehicle accidents, sports injuries and falls. Angela has extensive experience dealing with brain injuries whether caused by insufficient oxygen (stroke cases, birth defect and cases of negligence intra-operative care) or trauma to the brain (directly or indirectly).

Angela’s message is to get good representation early on. Find legal counsel who will take the time to get to know you as an individual and who will give clear guidance on getting rehabilitation as soon as possible to ensure the best possible outcome. At the same time, evidence needs to be meticulously gathered and preserved to ensure any claim for compensation is appropriately presented, rather than compromised.
